Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The essence of the course is the application of knowledge in the evaluation of the conditions of danger and development of fires in the open and in enclosed spaces. During real fires, he clarifies the ability to understand the physical and chemical principles of the combustion process. It includes the use of knowledge to introduce simplifications into the theoretical laws of combustion processes, heat and mass transfers, smoke propagation and phenomena related to the development of fire. Subsequently, it allows the use of engineering tools to calculate selected fire parameters and assess the conditions for the spread of fire. Evaluates the assumptions for the formulation of conclusions for the evaluation of the origin and development of fires in real conditions based on knowledge of the properties and behavior of a real fire.

Summary

The dynamics of a fire is focused on the issue of the origin, development and fully developed fire and also on the principles of its interruption. It also focuses on related phenomena that accompany the fire, especially in closed buildings.
