Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquire skills focused on the selection and assessment of technical means in relation to their practical use in a safe and effective way. The main benefit of the course for students is a chance to gain systematic insight into the issue of technical means and their use in the practical intervention of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, or other fire brigades anywhere in the world (understanding the human-machine relationship). Based on the analysis of the practical use conditions of selected technical means, the student should be able to define requirements for their technical parameters or possibly objectify the selection of a suitable technical means for a given purpose on the basis of multicriteria analysis.

The course "Technical Means of Fire Protection" is focused on multicriteria analysis of selected technical means of fire protection, development trends of selected technical means of fire protection and methods for identification and analysis of Human Factors errors while using selected technical means. The aim of the course is to acquire skills focused on the selection and assessment of technical means in relation to their practical use in a safe and effective way. The main benefit of the course for students is a chance to gain systematic insight into the issue of technical means and their use in the practical intervention of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, or other fire brigades anywhere in the world.

The course "Technical Means of Fire Protection" deals with three major topics as follows: 1) Multicriteria analysis of selected technical means of fire protection. 2) Development trends of selected technical means of fire protection. 3) Methods for identification and analysis of Human Factors errors while using selected technical means.
