Learn and understand basic terminology and definitions. Learn and understand basic principles and way of use. Make an overview of fire and rescue service technical equipment in the Czech Republic (practical excursions).

Subject syllabus:

1. Basic armatures in fire protection (water supply equipment); 2. Protective clothes; 3. Breathing apparatuses; 4. Special technical equipment; 5. Fire-fighting vehicles (rescue tenders and water tenders); 6. Fire-fighting aircrafts; 7. First Aid techniques; 8. Special fire-fighting equipment.
