Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

To reproduce students with tasks posed on general occupational safety, especially in relation to work injury investigation and work injury reduction. Creation and determination of conditions for a harmless work environment, labour hygiene in relation to valid legislation.

Summary

The goal of the course is to prepare the student for the function of safety professional in the whole range of occupational safety and health. It deals with legal and other regulations of occupational safety and health, risk prevention and risk assessment methods, Act No. 258/2000 Coll.

Compulsory literature:

Directive 2006/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2006 on machinery, and amending Directive 95/16/EC

Subject syllabus:

1st INTRODUCTION The complexity of problems, basic concepts: threat, risk, rate risk, the definition: work injury, occupational diseases, general diseases, the relationship of man - machine - working environment, characteristics of working conditions 2nd WORKING ENVIRONMENT Characteristics of basic hygiene and occupational hazards, including basic protection against them. Risks: dust, noise, vibration, optical risks, ionizing radiation, unsuitable microclimate
