Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the basic technological processes in engineering and other technologies to bring them to production, manufacturing machinery and procedures. Highlight the dangers and security risks with those technological processes and procedures related. Outline a possible preventive measures to reduce the risk of accidents selected technological processes.

Summary

The course familiarises students with the basics of the prevention of major accidents of chosen technological processes. Safety aspects of operation of various installations, causes of accidents, important factors of safety will be discussed. Furthermore, preventive measures reducing risks will be presented.

Subject syllabus:

1st The manufacturing process in engineering, health and safety. List and distribution technologie.Těžká Metallurgy-ferrous metallurgy, powder metallurgy. 2nd Metal finished products. Casting-mold making, molding, casting. 3rd Forming heat-hammers. Cold forming presses. 4th Welding-welding units. Heat-treatment furnaces. 5th Turning-soustuhy. Routing-milling machine. 6th Planing and slotting-planed. and milling machines. Drilling and boring, drilling and boring machines. 7th Grinding-grinding machine. Finish-machining machine. Installation and assembly lines. 8th Heat zpracoání steel, the equilibrium diagram of Fe-C-stable, the equilibrium diagram of Fe 3-C-metastable. Ferrite, austenite, pearlite, ledeburite, primary, secondary and tertiary cementite. Crystalline structure of metals, imperfections in the crystalline structure of metals. 9th Gas-production, storage and transport of gases. Technology of production of industrial gases, transport and storage. 10th Electricity-issue cover, spark discharges. 11th Bodyshop-used technology, creating dangerous concentrations during the operation. 12th Wood-processing technology production, storage, possible hazards. Technological processing of raw wood cutting, drying and subsequent processing 13th Coke ovens, coke, other products such dangers. Tecnologický production process, waste products of individual production. 14th Plastics processing, basic technological processes. Secondary raw material use, recycling and waste technologies, environmental aspects.
