Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course focuses on the responsibilities of business related to the environmental protection according to current legislation. The aim is to clearly and comprehensively inform students about the obligations of businesses in the field of environmental protection especially:
- Management of chemical substances and preparations in the workplace according to the applicable law on the protection of public health
- Prevention of major accidents
- Waste Management
- Water Utilization and Protection
- Air Protection
- Integrated prevention, IRZ, ISPOP
- Problems packaging
In each part is made interpretation of the obligations arising from the legislation and practical training after their performance ie keeping operating records, reports, requests, categorization of resources, waste and more.

Předmět se zaměřuje na povinnosti v oblasti vztahu podniku k ochraně životního prostředí dle platné legislativy a také na možnosti využití dobrovolných nástrojů za účelem ochrany životního prostředí (v nejen průmyslové činnosti). V rámci předmětu se studenti seznámí s procesem stanovení environmentálního profilu podniku a sami navrhnou možnosti jeho zlepšení. Je řešena problematika zejména oblastí: vodního hospodářství, ochrany přírody a krajiny, odpadového hospodářství, obalů, ovzduší, ekologické újmy, integrované prevence znečištění.
