Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to acquire basic knowledge about the formation of dangerous concentrations of combustible dust, gases and vapors of flammable liquids that may be present in technological processes, both during normal operation and during startup and shutdown technology as well as in technological equipment damage. The student will be tempted to define the risk of an explosive atmosphere and to apply appropriate measures to eliminate it. Understanding the possibility of initiating explosive files in production processes so that the student is able to apply preventive measures to limit them. Based on analysis and evaluation of fire and explosion hazards, the student will be able to define appropriate measures to limit the possibility of flame spread and fire. Acquired knowledge will be applied to selected technological processes, their risks and possibilities of preventive protection.

Summary

Na základě analýzy a vyhodnocení nebezpečí požáru a výbuchu bude student schopný definovat vhodná opatření omezující možnost šíření plamene požáru a výbuchu. Získané znalosti bude student umět aplikovat na vybrané technologické procesy, jejich rizika a možnosti preventivní ochrany.
