Subject syllabus:

- theory of toxicity, quantification, routes of entry of substances into the organism, - distribution of xenobiotics and their interaction with biomolecule, biomembrane, - biotransformation and its phases, factors affecting metabolism of toxic substances, structure-toxicity, - blood poisons, hepatogenic, immunological, neurotoxic, mutagenic and carcinogenic, addictive substances, ecotoxicity. Toxicity of raw materials, intermediates, products and wastes in selected chemical products, both organic (petrochemical) both inorganic (production of acids, bases, salts, ammonia, fertilizers, etc.)
