The aim of the course is to inform students complex and comprehensively about the importance and method of prevention and preparedness for major accidents in terms of safety.

The course includes an explanation of the importance and method of prevention and preparedness for major accidents in the Czech Republic and the EU,provides an overview of recommended methods for risk assessment using practical examples and introduces students to the principles of emergency planning.
