Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the guided practice in the field is the participation of the student in selected companies, companies and organizations and in the required extent of the practice, so that his / her theoretical knowledge is confronted with normal operation. The content of controlled practice should be student participation in workplace risk assessment, including a proposal for measures to eliminate or eliminate risks at workplaces, as well as participation eg in revisions of electrical equipment, gas equipment, lifting equipment and pressure equipment. As part of the guided practice, the student should be familiar with the documentation of work-related accidents, operational accidents and accidents, take part in the investigation of these extraordinary events and in case of work-related injuries, obtain information about their compensation.

Summary

Practice outside OHS cannot be considered professional practice. Practice according to the choice of individual subjects that were lectured during the course of study with a focus on application in practice and a closer acquaintance with controlled technical documentation, technical devices and risks in the field of occupational safety and health arising from work activities and workplaces. The student chooses the field of guided practice according to his / her interest in the given topic, or his / her professional practice is recommended or mediated by the Department of Labor and Organizations in organizations with which the department has a cooperation agreement.
