Summary
The course introduces Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) as a broad multidisciplinary field focusing on management of occupational risks which may harm the employee´s health or impair their well-being. It acquaints students with the basic principles and foundations of OSH, which are applied in the effective management of health and safety at work. It presents selected practical aspects of OSH, whose knowledge and the ability to implement into practice are among the key competencies of OSH professionals.
