Summary
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic rules relating to safety products wither product marketing and testing. The second part of the course focuses on the basic requirements for the protection of health and safety at work in a non-explosive environment. Students will be able to understand and apply basic technical safety procedures in the field of product safety.

3. Normalization and technical standards, harmonized documents
4. The legal bases of the new approach to certification
5. Testing and demonstration of product properties
6. Accreditation and Notification
7. Metrology and measurement management system
8. Product documentation, declaration of conformity, instructions for use
9. Responsibility to products and their users
10. Individual EU product group regulations and directives
11. Basic principles and division of explosion
12. Primary, secondary and tertiary (structural) explosion prevention
13. ATEX (Application of EU Product Directive 94/9 / EC)
