Summary
Students will learn how to deal with technical documentation. Simultaneously, they will be given an overview of engineering materials, their properties and testing. Furthermore, they will obtain an overview of fasteners and joints, bearings, shafts and shaft couplings, static and mainly dynamic stress exerted on them. They will also have an overview of mechanical transfer of rotary motion, pressure vessels, pipes, fittings, pumps and compressors.
