Subject syllabus:

The course addresses fire and explosion prevention technology processes. 1st Quantities and flammability and explosiveness of their determination. Explosion curve explosion characteristics of flammable gases, flammable liquids, vapors, aerosols industrial liquids and powders. 2nd Cubic law and the extent of its validity. Operating margin impacts explosion and the maximum explosion parameters (temperature, pressure, initial energy, and turbulence). 3rd Removal of the material causes of fires and explosions (open area, flammable, oxidizing agent). 4th Limiting the possibility of ignition of combustible and explosive file - the effect ignition sources. Zones. 5th Design explosion prevention. Preventing the spread of fire and explosion. 6th Ensure a rapid and effective intervention. Explosion suppression in cubic containers and pipes. 7th Ability to create dangerous concentrations during start-up and shutdown equipment and in its normal operation. 8th Reliable disconnect device, the purge and preparation of repair work. 9th Creating a dangerous concentration of the damage and crash the device. Outflow of liquids. The discharge of gases. Equipment operating in a vacuum. 10th Total accident. Dangerous concentrations in free space, their diffusion, initiation and pressure effects. 11th Possible causes of damage that can be expected. Mechanical cause - the resistance of the pipe, increasing the temperature, disruption of condensation, hydraulic character, physical explosion. 12th Damage to thermal effects - the influence of sediments, heat stress, influence temperature on the mechanical properties of steels. Corrosion damage. 13th Ignition sources in the production processes and their limitations. Flame spark, compression heat, hot surfaces, static electricity ignition, Electrical equipment, radiation, ultrasound .... 14th Some processes, their risks and preventive options protection.
