Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Gaining knowledge about creating dangerous concentrations in normal operation, when starting and stopping and damage to equipment. Understanding the initiation of explosive files in production processes and applications to their limits. Analysis and evaluation of fire and explosion hazards, and measures restricting the spread of flame of fire and explosion.
Applications in manufacturing processes, their risks and potential preventive protection.

Summary
The formation of hazardous concentrations in the normal operation of equipment,
in the putting equipment into and out of operation and in case of damage to
equipment. Ignition sources in manufacturing processes and their reduction.
Measures limiting the possibility of spreading the flames of fire and
explosion. Chosen technological processes, their risks and possibilities of
prevention.

Subject syllabus:
1st Potentially fire and explosion.
2nd Load environment temperature and pressure, pressure wave parameters.
3rd The impact of working conditions on the size of the pressure load structures.
4th Avoid creating a dangerous explosive environment.
5th Limiting the possibility of ignition of explosive atmospheres of zone.
6th Reducing the effects of an explosion to an acceptable level, and explosion-resistant construction
Explosion shock resistant design.
7th Explosion venting and explosion suppression.
8th Preventing the spread of an explosion in the pipeline.
9th Examples of creating explosive mixtures during normal operation.
10th Examples of explosive mixtures in mechanical damage of
causes.
11th Possibilities of formation of explosive mixtures in equipment damage and thermal effects
corrosion damage.
12th Assessment of risk of ignition in the manufacturing process. Limiting
initiation.
13th Measures restricting the spread of flame of fire and explosion.
