Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Learning outcomes of the course unit the aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge of technical documentation creation and function of machine parts, shaft couplings, pressure vessels, piping, fittings, pumps and compressors. Students will learn to work with technical documentation. At the same time, they will gain a basic overview of engineering materials, their properties and testing. They will also get an overview of connecting parts and joints, bearings, shafts and shaft couplings, their stress, static and mainly dynamic. They will also have an overview of mechanical gears, pressure vessels, pipelines, fittings, pumps and compressors.

Summary

The course deals with the creation of technical documentation and explains the functions of machine parts, shaft couplings, pressure vessels, piping, fittings, pumps and compressors. Students will learn to work with technical documentation. At the same time, they will gain a basic overview of engineering materials, their properties and testing. They will also get an overview of connecting parts and joints, bearings, shafts and shaft couplings, their stress, static and mainly dynamic. They will also have an overview of mechanical gears, pressure vessels, pipelines, fittings, pumps and compressors.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Podmínky pro udělení zápočtu (prezenční studium): účast ve cvičení, odevzdání semestrální práce a její obhajoba, odevzdání laboratorních protokolů, zápočtový test. Min. počet bodů za zápočet: 16. Max. počet bodů za zápočet: 30. Podmínky pro udělení zápočtu (kombinované studium): odevzdání semestrální práce, zápočtový test. Min. počet bodů za zápočet: 16. Max. počet bodů za zápočet: 30. Požadavky ke zkoušce: zapsaný zápočet, písemná a ústní část zkoušky. Za úspěšné absolvování zkoušky bude považován zisk 35 – 70 bodů.

At least 70 % attendance at seminars. Absence of a maximum of 30% must be excused and the excuse must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides on the justification of the excuse). Continuous submission of tasks assigned to the exercises in terms set by the teacher.
