Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of the course unit is to provide student with a basic overview of environmental issues related to environmental protection, environmental threats and environmental management.
The student will be able to exclude and describe partial environmental problems and threats in relation to the environmental compartments concerned and studen will be able to critically evaluate environmental problems in relation to their circumstances of origin, currently implemented measures for their solution, etc.

Summary
The course provides a basic overview of the environment, includes environmental protection, the environmental threats and environmental management. Environmental aspects (that may affect the environment) and environmental impacts (negative and positive) are presented.
(There are presented environmental aspects, which can influence the environment and there are presented environmental impacts, ie changes in the environment (negative and positive) that can occur as a result of human activity.)

Forma ověření studijních výsledků je kombinovaná a to jak ústní, tak písemná. Student dále v rámci předmětu zpracovává semestrální práci, kterou také prezentuje v rámci cvičení.

Other requirements
At least 80 % attendance at seminars. Absence of a maximum of 20% must be excused and the excuse must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides on the justification of the excuse). Continuous submission of tasks assigned to the exercises in terms and scope required by the teacher.
