Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
At the end of course, students will be well versed in statutory provisions and other legal regulations to ensure OHS. Students will be able to interpret the requirements of selected statutory provisions and other legal regulations to ensure OHS. Students acquire ability to apply of statutory provisions and other legal regulations to ensure OHS in practice.

Summary
The course is focused on key requirements of statutory provisions and other regulations on OHS sphere.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the requirements of legal and other regulations to ensure OSH, their ability to interpret and apply in practice is an essential part of the qualification assumptions of all OSH specialists. The professional competence to undertake risk prevention tasks (as provided for in Act No 309/2006 as amended) is conditioned by successful pass of the exam based on legal requirements on OSH. The subject is the starting base for other specialised items such as Safety of machinery and equipment, Technical safety, Working environment, Case studies, etc.

Forma ověření studijních výsledků je kombinovaná a to jak ústní tak písemná. Student dále v rámci předmětu zpracovává semestrální práci, kterou také prezentuje na cvičení.

Other requirements
At least 70 % attendance at seminars. Absence of a maximum of 30% must be excused and the excuse must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides on the justification of the excuse). Continuous submission of tasks assigned to the exercises in terms set by the teacher.

regulations
2. Responsibility for OSH; Fundamental rights and obligations of key stakeholders in OSH; Risk
prevention; responding to emergencies
3. Occupational medical services, medical certificates
4. Training on statutory provisions and other regulations to ensure OSH, occupational OSH training,
information and guidance in relation to OSH
5. PPE, washing agents, detergents and disinfectants and protective beverages
6. Accidents at work and occupational diseases
7. OSH checks and inspections. Employee participation to tackle OSH issues
8. Workplace and work environment requirements. Safety signs, markings and signals
9. Requirements for production and work equipment
10. Work organisation and Workflows
11. Risk factors for working conditions, occupational health protection
12. Providing activities related to the protection and prevention of occupational risks, professional
competence, OSH qualification
