Summary
Teams of students implement a project on a selected topic in the field of Safety & Security under the professional guidance of a teacher (the teacher is in a role of a “guide” through the project work). The topics of the projects are interdisciplinary and are based on current real requirements of practice. The project consists of self-study of project materials, development of a project plan, design of work methodology, own practical activities, processing and evaluation of results and drawing conclusions. The output of the project is a summary project report, opposed by the teacher. The project ends with a presentation and defence of the project in front of experts from academia and business. The course includes seminars on individual phases of project preparation and implementation. Regular consultations on project status are part of the seminars.
