Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Articulate the causes and conditions of leaks, fires and explosions. Advocating the principles of safety in the storage, production and transport of flammable liquids and liquefied gases. Interpretovatí danger and preventionand basic physical processes and specific causes of failures reactors based on their classification, Judge stechnologických chemistry processes in terms of security and reliability. Methods of identifying hazards (risk sources) technological processes.

Summary
Analýza příčin a podmínek úniku látek, požáru a výbuchu. Vlastnosti a
technicko-bezpečnostní parametry plynů a par hořlavých kapalin a jejich
aplikace v bezpečnostní praxi. Zásady bezpečnosti při skladování, výrobě i
přepravě hořlavých kapalin. Zásady bezpečnosti při skladování, výrobě i
přepravě zkapalněných plynů. Posouzení nebezpečí a prevence základních
fyzikálních procesů - ohřevu, sušení, rektifikace. Specifické příčiny poruch
reaktorů na základě jejich klasifikace, posouzení chemizmu technologických
procesů z hlediska bezpečnosti a spolehlivostí. Rozbor konkrétních
exotermických a endotermických chemických procesů (polymerace, dehydrogenace).
Metody identifikace nebezpečí (zdrojů rizika) technologických procesů.
Bezpečnosti studie, význam a způsob zpracování.

Subject syllabus:
1. ANALYSIS of CAUSES of LEAK, FIRE and EXPLOSION TECHNOLOGY
Analysis of the causes of accidents according to statistics, examples of emergency situations.
2. PROPERTIES and TBP of SUBSTANCES
Listing and explanation of physical and chemical properties, technical and safety parameters of liquids and gases and their use in practice.
3. NATURE of HAZARD and PREVENTION of PHYSICAL PROCESSES
The process of heating flammable substances. Heat transfer materials and techniques of heating. Heating the saturated water vapor. Hot flue gases and flames. Risk and prevention with special heat transfer when heating substances.
4. NATURE OF HAZARD AND PREVENTION OF PHYSICAL PROCESSES
Rectification processes. Basic knowledge of distillation and rectification. Technological variants of industrial distillation and rectification. Risk and Prevention in the rectification of mixtures of flammable liquids.

Drying. Methods of drying and drying equipment. The mechanism and kinetics of drying.
