Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to deepen the knowledge of the problems arising from work activities, the operation of machines and equipment, as well as the influence of work environment and working conditions on human behavior in the work process. Tools for effective prevention, risk elimination of resources and minimization of their effects. In addition, the course includes the basic causes of sources of human health damage at work, it characterizes the working conditions and the burden, it shows the basic factors influencing the level of safety and health at work, the complex of safety and hygienic risks, the influence of the human factor on the occupational health and safety, out-of-work. It emphasizes the influence of physical influences (light, heat and cold, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, noise and vibration), position at work, effect of chemicals, stress, social and psychological influences. As a special category, it deals with environmental influences. The subject is occupational safety and health protection focused on hydrogen technologies (production, storage, transport and use of hydrogen for commercial purposes).
