Students are able to recognize the links and relationships in the functioning of the Integrated Rescue System, to generalize them and to make conclusions about the organization and management of the rescue work.

Předmět rozšiřuje a prohlubuje znalosti z oblasti státem garantované pomoci v nouzi v ČR. Je vysvětlen význam IZS a postavení základních a ostatních složek IZS v systému. Vymezeno je postavení a působnost veřejné správy a právnických osob a fyzických osob. Podrobně jsou rozebrány zásady koordinace záchranných a likvidačních prací, způsob financování i zabezpečování připravenosti jednotlivých organizačních prvků. Praktická aplikace zásad IZS je prezentována formou případových studii záchranných prací.
