The aim is to be able to objectively evaluate the measures for the protection of the population based on the acquired knowledge. Apply knowledge in the preparation of medium and long-term plans.

Summary
The subject deepens the knowledge in the area of population protection acquired during the bachelor study. It provides a comprehensive overview of the current situation in the Czech Republic and other states of the European Union. It presents the expected development of the population protection system in accordance with the Conception of Population Protection. It explains the planning, management and security of this system from a managerial point of view.

1. Historical context of the development of population protection in the world and in the Czech Republic
2. Current threats to the 21st century and protection of the population
3. Protecting the population in Europe
4. Current state and expected evolution of population protection until 2030
5. The current situation and the expected development of collective protection of the population
6. The current situation and the envisaged development of individual protection of the population
7. Protection of the population from atmospheric disturbances and natural anomalies
8. Protection of the population from the effects of terrorism and armed conflicts
9. Critical Infrastructure Disorders and Population Protection
10. Fundamentals of design of special buildings for the protection of the population
11. Planning of material and financial resources for the protection of the population
