Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students are able to recognize relationships and relationships in critical infrastructure systems. They are guided by the principles of security assessment of the elements and the system of critical infrastructure elements. Can apply risk management and crisis management procedures to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Process.

Summary
The subject deepens knowledge in the area of critical infrastructure protection. Demands of legal environment are presented with links to the status and tasks of public administration, legal entities and physical entities – entrepreneurs, during critical infrastructure protection. Basic procedures for implementing the risk management and crisis management during the proposal of critical infrastructure protection measures are explained in the subject. Students gain an overview of the ways of critical infrastructure protection in particular EU and NATO countries.
