Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of the subject is make students acquainted with the role of central state institute of the Czech Republic for air quality, hydrology, water quality, climatology and meteorology. The task is not only to understand the way of monitoring the causes of pollution and devastation of territories and water ecosystems, but also the co-operation of state administration authorities with integrated rescue system.

Students familiarize themselves with hydrometeorology situation forecasting system in relation to the solution of extraordinary events.

Subject syllabus:
The familiarization of students with the role of the central state institute of the Czech Republic for the following fields:
• air quality,
• hydrology,
• water quality,
• climatology and meteorology,
as objective professional service provided preferentially to the state administration in the form of a field trip. The familiarization of students with the problems and the way of monitoring the causes of pollution and devastation of territories, water ecosystems, and with the co-operation of state administration authorities with the services of IRS.
