Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students can characterize individual elements of extraordinary events response system and the relations among them. They can generalize the acquired knowledge and modify it for practice.

Summary
Students gain knowledge of the occurrence of extraordinary events, organization of rescue and clean-up operations on the basis of integrated rescue system, and the coordination role of state administration authorities. Furthermore, lessons include information about international co-operation during clearing the consequences of accidents and disasters, and the principles of preparation for extraordinary situations.
