Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge of management, with a focus on individual managerial functions and management techniques, also applicable in the field of security.

Summary
The course acquaints students with basic management practices to achieve those objectives, in conjunction with the safety and security of the population. At first, students are introduced to the concept of management, both in general, but also in a broader context with respect to safety. In addition, students will become acquainted with individual managerial functions and their relationship to business safety. Students are also introduced to basic managerial skills and critical factors that influence the success of management.

1. Úvodní přednáška
2. Podstata managementu, základní pojmy, charakteristika manažerské práce
3. Management organizace, společenská odpovědnost firem, firemní etika, firemní kultura
4. Řízení organizace – strategické, taktické, operativní
5. Komunikační a prezentační dovednosti manažera
6. Základní manažerské funkce – plánování, organizování, vedení, kontrola
7. Pracovní porada, zásady jejího vedení
8. Organizační struktury
9. Personální management, teorie motivací a vedení
10. Týmová práce, motivace, odměňování týmů
11. Osobní management – sebehodnocení, kariéra, time management, odolnost proti stresu
