Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Objectives of the course: To provide students with a basic overview of danger, threat and risk. The course is conceived as a theoretical basis for management methods, with emphasis on selected areas of management related to the prevention and managing emergencies. Learning outcomes: Acquired skills: - knowledge in the fields dividing safety measures, preventive measures and their implementation. Acquired skills: - The ability to understand the problems of security, the ability to to evaluate the possibility of performing a risk analysis.

Summary

Předmět je pojat jako teoretický základ managementu v oblasti průmyslové bezpečnosti. Vnitřně je rozdělen na oblast přípravy a zvládání rozsáhlých, především havarijních, událostí a oblast bezpečnosti práce, tedy v souvislosti se zajišťování bezpečnosti přímo na pracovištích.

Subject syllabus:

Theory of safety 1. History of security solutions, the unification of used terminology 2. Risk and danger - definition, theoretical basis, determining 3-4. Risk analysis - approaches with regard to solving large extraordinary situations – Basic classification of methods, philosophical base – An overview of the methods used Safety management system in the Czech republic 5. Crisis management as part of public administration and available tools 6-7. Emergency planning as a tool of industrial safety - Describing of important events in history – reason for preparing the plans - The legal framework in the field from the perspective of the EU and the Czech Republic Occupational safety area (OHS) 8-9. OSH management system - the basic elements of the system 10. OSH for foreign approaches 11. Requirements for safety management systems according to ČSN OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) 12. Integrated management systems within the meaning of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 13-14. Preparation and implementation of OHS in the organization
