Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to deepen the student's knowledge in identifying and assessing risks from the perspective of safe territory and sustainable development, comprehensive issues of socio-economic acceptability of risks, including principles of sustainable development, analytical methods to determine the vulnerability of territories and their inhabitants, understanding of integral and integrated risk, tools for risk modeling in the territory. There will also be project and process management systems, risk communication for the benefit of a safe society, a safe region and the state.

Summary
The course is focused on the study of subjects, processes and other essentials concerning the security of a territory in connection with its sustainable development. Special attention is paid to the problems of protection of protected interests in the territory, i.e. people, infrastructure and environment.
