Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of national security policy from the perspective of potential security risks and apply national security strategy in the field of internal security, public order and the rule of law, including the perspective of the international dimension of security and national plans and strategies such as. The National Action Plan to Combat terrorism. Students will gain knowledge and skills in the areas of legal standards and measures in matters of internal order and security, the international dimension of security, organized crime, terrorism, extremism and crime prevention, migration and asylum policy, including the minimum called. Schengen area, safety protection of persons and objects , local matters of public order, security services and their cooperation, public administration, private sector and citizens in ensuring security.

Summary
1. Pojetí bezpečnosti, terminologie, rozdělení. Právní úprava ochrany objektů, života, zdraví a majetku.
2. Právní prostředí pro zajištění bezpečnosti státu
3. Bezpečnostní systém státu / struktura, principy/. Problematika tzv. Schengenského prostoru
4. Struktury veřejné správy ČR při zajišťování bezpečnosti
5. Bezpečnostní strategie a doktríny, azylová a migrační politika státu.
6. Bezpečnost, ochrana osob a objektu. Fyzická bezpečnost.
7. Vnitřní bezpečnost a veřejný pořádek. Bezpečnostní sbory.
8. Obrana státu, ozbrojené síly.
9. Systém zdolávání mimořádných událostí. Integrovaný záchranný systém.
10. Systém krizového řízení ČR, terorismus, extremismus, kriminalita a sociální patologie
11. Plánování pro zajištění bezpečnosti a udržitelného rozvoje v ČR. Ekonomika a financování bezpečnosti
12. Spolupráce veřejné správy, soukromého sektoru a občanů při zajišťování bezpečnosti.
13. Postavení ČR v bezpečnostní architektuře EU, NATO, OSN
