Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student should be able to recognize the state of imminent threat to life and health, to describe the basic aid delivery algorithm, the construction of a health rescue system from the state of origin imminent threat to life and health up to the target health facility, the student will be familiar with the essence states of imminent threat to life and health, and events in the body leading to death, disability and health damage.

Summary

The course provides a brief, clear and comprehensive picture of contemporary emergency medicine following the standardized first aid. The core of the subject is therefore a description of the states of imminent threat to life and the health of non-traumatic and traumatic origin.

Subject syllabus:

1. Sanitary rescue service, structure and rules of the rescue worker and medical teams during extraordinary events. 2. The activities of a medical rescuer in the field of emergency, anaesthesiological-resuscitation care and acute intake. 3. Legislation related to the provision of health services, health care and first aid. The so-called " coroner. 4. Principles of first aid and its division, rescue chain. The psychological and health impact of extraordinary events on company. 5. Basic life functions, unconsciousness, shock states, positioning of the affected person and related first aid. 6. Breathing pathways, their throughput and cardiovascular resuscitation in adults and children 7. Injuries and head injuries, intoxication and thermal trauma, including first aid in these conditions. 8. Chest injuries and abdominal injuries, including first aid in these conditions. 9. Injury of the spine and spinal cord, including first aid in these conditions. 10. Vascular and arterial bleeding, dressing technique and transport options, including first aid for these conditions. 11. Acute conditions in gynecology and obstetrics, including first aid in these conditions. 12. Electrical injuries, burns, including first aid in these conditions. 13. Burning factors of explosives, firearms and cold weapons, types of injuries and infections. Suicidium.
