Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will acquire theoretical knowledge important for understanding the issues of protection of persons and property, which using the process of risk assessment, including risk management can apply to specific areas of protection of individuals, property and natural persons.

Summary
The subject acquaints with the issues of physical security in the areas - technical protection, physical security and regime protection, incl. protection of road transport assets with regard to current modern technical and organizational solutions with an emphasis on protection against unlawful conduct. Students will gain knowledge of how to use the appropriate techniques of the risk assessment process to identify, analyze and evaluate the problem and based on these findings, then set the security measures of physical security corresponding to the required level of security of the object of interest.
