Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the phenomenon forms of delinquency, with factors influencing their origin and with possibilities of control using preventive and repressive strategies. Furthermore, the aim of the course is to acquaint students with selected and topical problems of crime, their phenomenon forms, etiology and possibilities of control through preventive and repressive strategies in the European context.

The course is focused on elementary criminological terminology and theoretical and methodological bases of criminology as a scientific and study branch. Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject deals with the latest domestic and foreign knowledge about crime, its types, forms, about its control, space is devoted to the interpretation of offenders and victims of crime.
