Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to understand the problems of radio communication within the security corps. The course includes the division of radio networks, the principle of radio link operation, explanation of the basics of radio wave propagation, including related physical phenomena, and legal regulations in the area.

Summary
The knowledge of the field of radio communication in security forces and security services is one of the important competencies, which creates a prerequisite for effective activities of the appointed entities. The course includes in the first phase the principle of radio link operation, including the explanation of the basics of radio wave propagation and related physical phenomena, as well as legislation in the field. Subsequently, attention is paid to the legal area of radio operation. Furthermore, the differences in the use and method of radio communication at the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, the Police of the Czech Republic, the Rescue Service and other entities are discussed.
