The course aims to introduce students to the issues of security management in the field of physical and technical protection of objects. The student will acquire theoretical knowledge by studying important to understand the problems of protection of persons and property, which uses a process of risk assessment can be applied to the area of protection of individuals, protection of property.

Summary

Předmět seznamuje s problematikou fyzické bezpečnosti v oblastech - technické ochrany, fyzické ostrahy a režimové ochrany. Předmět seznamuje s technickými zábrannými prostředky ochrany majetku. Předmět seznamuje studenty rovněž s ochranou informací, obranou proti konkurenčnímu zpravodajství, ekonomickým hlediskem ochrany podniku, domino efektem, pravidlo ALARA a ALARP. Předmět si klade za cíl seznámit studenty s hrozbami a riziky, které se sebou nese moderní věk. V kursu bude zohledněno nové pojetí výzkumu bezpečnosti a nebude tedy zdaleka omezen pouze na výzkum tzv. hard security.

Subject syllabus:

1. Physical security - characteristics, classification, legal framework, development trends, terminology. 2. Specifics, focus of the so-called security and safety in the company. 3. Security environment, security as a guarantee of prosperity, concepts and definitions. 4. Risk assessment techniques - selection of appropriate techniques for the risk assessment process in physical security. Application of physical security risk assessment techniques in the company and their verification. 5. Theory of risk assessment in physical security. Context determination, identification, analysis, evaluation, risk treatment. 6. Economic aspect of business protection and ALARA rule. 7. Technical circuit protection. Technical mantle protection. 8. Technical spatial and object protection. 9. Protection and circulation of information in the company. Competitive, commercial intelligence. 10. Access and attendance systems. 11. Biometric systems in object protection. 12. Security expertise, analysis, forecasting, object protection planning. 13. Methodology of solving professional problems and scientific work in security
