To teach students a system of rules and technical, organizational and regime measures and methods of protection of health, life and preventing unauthorized handling of property due to unlawful behavior.

Summary

The subject of physical protection consists of a system of technical, organizational and regime measures and methods to prevent the unauthorized handling of property. The course deals with rules, conditions, systems and management of physical protection including security policy with analysis of individual methods and systems of physical protection based on identification, modeling, analysis and evaluation of risks resulting from the protection of persons, property and physical protection of information and critical infrastructure. Course contents: Application of multicriterial assessment of scales (Saaty method and others) in physical protection; capabilities and design issues of physical security following the economic aspect of ALARP, domino effect, synergy, and techniques of assessing the reliability of a human agent in physical security.
