Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to understand the measurement of basic physical quantities using specific mesurement devices. Students will learn how to use measuring devices, how to measure experimental data and it's basic statistical evaluation.

1. The measurement of liquid density and viscosity
2. The measurement of heat flux and emissivity
3. The measurement of temperature using contact and contactless method
4. The calibration of thermocouples
5. The measurement of the dimension of a solid, thickness of paint, room dimensions, tip velocity
6. The basic electrical measurements
7. The measurement of air velocity and wind tunnel speed profile
