Summary

The course is focused on the consolidation of knowledge gained in economics with a deeper understanding of logic and structure of ideological statements. It is therefore to ensure that students understand how representatives of individual schools of economic thought reached the conclusions presented in a simplified form in economics textbooks, and are able to critically evaluate them.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Vytvoření a následná prezentace seminární práce stanoveného rozsahu, jejímž tématem je problematika filosofie, případně sociologie a historie vědy, s aplikací v některé z oblastí ekonomie (např. logického pozitivismu, kritického racionalismu, holismu, viz sylabus předmětu), anebo problematika metodologie ekonomie (např. dedukce versus indukce, role experimentu v ekonomii, pronikání metod ekonomie do jiných věd a naopak). V případě vynucené distanční (bezkontaktní) výuky z epidemiologických důvodů budou zápočtové aktivity probíhat online prostřednictvím LMS Moodle a MS Teams, podmínky absolvování předmětu zůstávají beze změny.
