Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Studenti po absolvování předmětu budou schopni: - identifikovat a popsat fungování komerčních bank v dané ekonomice, v prostoru EU i ve světě, - posoudit hlavní faktory, které ovlivnily změny a vývoj ve struktuře finančních institucí, - orientovat se v legislativě EU pro oblast finančnictví a bankovnictví, - reagovat na aktuální vývoj, budou připraveni na chystané změny, zejména pak v souvislosti s chystaným projektem bankovní unie.

Subject syllabus:

1.Charakteristika finančního a bankovního sektoru, pojetí a vymezení banky, organizační struktura a management bank. 2.Faktory ovlivňující změny ve struktuře finančních institucí, vliv EU na formování bankovního sektoru v zemích EU. 3.Pasiva bank I. 4.Pasiva bank II. 5.Aktiva bank I. 6.Aktiva bank II. 7.Hospodaření bank v rámci EU. 8.Investiční bankovnictví a bankovnictví mimo bilanci. 9.Regulace a dohled nad bankovním sektorem, vývoj regulace a budoucí reformy 10.Fúze a akvizice v bankovním sektoru, vliv legislativy EU. 11.Koncentrace a konkurence v bankovnictví, vliv legislativy EU. 12.Nelegální aktivity spojené s bankovnictvím (insider trading, praní špinavých peněz).
