- The acquisition of basic knowledge on the management of real estate in the Czech Republic,
- Focus on the real estate market from the perspective of shoppers and sellers

Course "real estate market "is designed for students of bachelor study program at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB-TU Ostrava, who want to orientate in this specific market, or intends to in the future either single or long-term side of shoppers, vendors and the other state institutions in this market, business, or make real estate transaction.

Subject syllabus:
1) Úvod do studia kurzu, charakteristika, pojetí a dělení nemovitostí.
2) Práva k nemovitostem – převod, vlastnické a nájemní právo. Typy vlastnictví. Institut vyvlastnění nemovitostí. Věcná břemena.
3) Trh nemovitostí – místo, prvky: poptávka po nemovitostech, nabídka, rovnovážná cena. Ekonomické subjekty na trhu nemovitostí.
4) Stavební právo. Územní plánování, územní rozhodnutí, ohlášení, povolení. Stavební úřady, speciální stavební úřady
5) Vývoj trhu nemovitostí. Makroekonomický pohled na nemovitosti.
6) Stock-flow model.
7) Přehled urbanistických teorií.
8) Katastr nemovitostí – jeho funkce ve vztahu ke zvyšování efektivnosti trhu nemovitostí, úrovně katastru, geodetické zdroje vstupních informací do katastru nemovitostí, orientace v informačních výstupech z katastru.
9) Hodnota versus cena nemovitostí, metody ohodnocování nemovitostí.
10) Zdanění nemovitostí (vlastnictví, nájem).
11) Pozemky a přídní zdroje (stavební, zemědělské, lesní atd.).
12) Bydlení a sociální bydlení, druhy současných nájmů, bytová politika.
13) Komerční nemovitosti – maloobchodní, kancelářské a skladové prostory.
14) Nemovitosti pro speciální účely. Analýza zásahů státu na trhu nemovitostí. Asymetrické informace na trhu nemovitostí.
15) Vývoj a současnost českého trhu nemovitostí.
