Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the principles, fundamentals and economic analyzes used in Migration Economics. The course consists of a combination of theoretical concepts, empirical results and empirical approaches used in the field of migration economics and critical discussions on the implication of conclusions in public policy. Among other things, attention will be paid to important current economic issues such as migration determinants, factors affecting the integration of foreigners and the consequences of international migration and ethnic diversity.

Wider impact of immigration on the economy; international migration and globalization 8. Immigration policy 9. Diversity - the impact of the diversity of the workforce on companies and economies 10. Emigration and source countries, brain drain and brain gain, remittance 11. Social mobility
