Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of how financial development and stability contribute to economic growth and to reduction of pension inequality, and how we can define and measure financial stability and financial development (respectively efficiency and inclusion). Further goal is to apply the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) including financial stability stress tests.

Summary

Studenti se seznámí s předními empirickými výzkumy v dané oblasti a dozví se jaké finanční politiky (makroobezřetnostní, mikroobezřetnostní, zaměřené na finanční infrastrukturu, soutěživost trhu, či finanční gramotnost) jsou v praxi efektivní. Studenti si rovněž vyzkouší hodnocení stability a rozvoje konkrétních finančních systémů pomoci metodiky Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) prováděné Mezinárodním měnovým fondem a Světovou bankou, včetně zátěžových testů finanční stability.
