Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- to be able to assess their potential for performance manager work, - be aware of the scope for the development of their personality, - to know the basic manager approaches and to be able to apply it in practice, - to be able to describe specifics of management in the various tourism facilities, - to know the tax issues in tourism - monitor the economic performance of tourist facilities, - evaluate the investment - to be able to participate in the formation of pricing policies of the organization

Introduction to the principles of accommodation and catering facilities and travel agencies, including the indication of trends in management applicable in tourism.

Accommodation facilities • creation and development of hotel industry and its role in tourism • classification of accommodation facilities, type of accommodation • organizational structure of accommodation facilities, coordination • hotel chains, groups of entrepreneurs 2. Catering and refreshments • the nature, importance, basic catering • typing caterers [Public and private dining] • prerequisites for business meals in the common [legal, economic, Knowledge, personality] • subject activity and position in the distribution process • equilibrium wage formation 3. Travel Agents • creation and development of travel agencies in the world and especially in our • Definition of travel agencies, travel agencies and their classification, basic equipment, travel agencies • subject activity and position in the distribution process • organizational structure of travel agencies, forms of cooperation • Business operations in the travel agencies 4.
