Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1. Explain signification of managerial functions in project management and understand their impact on project’s efficiency and success. 2. Understand direct connection between manager’s personality, capabilities, knowledge and experiences and project management. 3. Identify student’s managerial capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. 4. Apply gained knowledge to various case studies and simulation games.

Summary

Subject contains of teoretical and application piece of knowledge, inclusive of skill drill, which are essential for succesfull project team and working group leading. The main topics are project manager, team work organization, team member leading and motivation, interpersonal communication, stress managing.

1.Řízení projektu jako speciální oblast managementu - Poslání a činnosti manažera projektu v rámci projektového řízení. 2.Osobnost manažera - Osobní vlastnosti. - Manažerské role. - Manažerská moc. - Kariéra manažera. - Rozvoj manažerů. 3.
