Summary

The aim of the subject is to prepare a professional and methodical bacground for the choice of the topic and successful completion of the diploma thesis in accordance with the topics listed. The student is trying to find a subject for the diploma thesis. Due to the different focus of diploma thesis topics and the specificity of the conditions of the individual solutions, the seminar takes place in the form of individual consultations according to the student's needs. Students learn to define the subject of research, orient themselves in information sources, carry out literary research, formulate the aim of the work and the expected results of the work. One of the results of the special seminar is the preliminary design of the topic of the diploma thesis and outline of the methodology of its solution.

1st Introduction to the diploma seminars * Purpose of this diploma seminar. * Purpose of the thesis, and requests for it. 2nd Types of thesis and topic selection. Cognitive-intervention cycle as basic framework for establishing access to the chosen topic. 3rd Thesis project and work plan. 4th Layout and Structure of the thesis. 5th Search and excerpted the relevant literature. 6th Refining thesis topic * Survey of analytical work. * The wording of questions, research problems and hypotheses. * partial study. 7th The methodology for obtaining and evaluating documentation and data collection. * Quantitative Analysis. * Qualitative analysis. 8th The methodology for solving design problems. 9th Creative approaches to designing and writing the thesis. * Work with text. 10th Writing a thesis. Writing style. 11th Finalization and Presentation of the thesis. * References to literature and sources, quotes. * The layout, tables, pictures, charts. 12th Difficulties and barriers of the thesis. 13th The defense of the thesis.
