Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s různými oblastmi podnikové praxe, kde klíčovým strategickým instrumentem jsou informace. Po absolvování předmětu bude student umět definovat základní informační potřeby organizace, bude umět vytvářet a implementovat informační strategii a bude umět pracovat s potenciálními riziky při práci s daty a informacemi v organizaci.

Summary
Předmět se zabývá oblastmi, které vycházejí ze základních potřeb sdílení, aplikace a distribuce informačních toků. Především se jedná o záležitosti informační strategie a rizik při práci s informacemi v organizaci, komunikace, Internetu, počítačové kriminality a oblasti vyhledávání, zpracovávání a archivace (zálohování) dat a informací.

Subject syllabus:
Lecture 1:
Information society and its characteristics, positive and negative consequences of living in the information society, information science,
data, information, knowledge, process information (information string), target information process,
information explosion and exformace concept, structure information (external and internal).
Lecture 2:
Information Manager, Information Strategy and its content, structure information strategy (business strategy,
information systems, information technology, information management), business strategy and its characteristics,
information systems and their implementation in the organization.
Lecture 3:
Information technology in the organization and their characteristics, hardware, software, communications infrastructure,
Information management and its role in the organization, procedures, implementation of information management in the organization,
information engineering, information level in the organization (strategic, tactical and operational level management)
and their information needs - information pyramid.
Lecture 4:
Information protection and industrial espionage, the legal definition of breach of trade secrets, trade secret communication methods,
illegal methods of obtaining information, the intelligence activities of interest among competitors, sources of information, expressions of successful espionage
principles of organization of information security and information policy in practice.
Lecture 5:
Computer (Information criminality), cyber-crime, info-crime, high-tech crime and their definitions,
cyberterrorism - definition, seven categories of crime information, criminal history information in the CR
Crime Information - Present (computer as a tool to attack, illegal software, etc.), the information perspective of crime and combat,

Modern threats to information - the tools of attacks, generally malware, computer viruses (types and division),
Special cases of infiltration and attack tool designed to collect and distribute data and information (spyware, phishing, ad-ware, hoaxes, dialers, Nigerian letters)
