Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1.To identify basic concepts, ideas and theories of the social sciences.
2.To arrange knowledge about the personality of a worker and manager.
3.To clarify attitudes, values and emotional intelligence, learning and development.
4.To compare theories of motivation - general and applied theories.
5.To conclude the importance of teamwork and team dynamics for innovation.

Summary
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the knowledge of the social sciences, which are important for modern management of organizations. These findings relate to workers, work groups and teams and social system of the organization, which are key areas of social sciences. Through critical examination of social theory and the links between theory and practice will be achieved greater understanding of people management. Topics relating to workers will include differences between individuals because of their personality structure and dynamics, topics of the working group compare the application and benefits of working groups in comparison with teamwork. Linking individuals and working (social) groups will be summarized in the interpretation of the social system.
