1. Understand the scope and complexity of managerial psychology and sociology. 2. Compare of personality approaches with methodological frameworks. 3. Understand opportunities for influencing employee behavior. 4. Understand work and organizational stress, consequences and prevention. 5. Understand the importance of organizational culture .

Individual consultations


The aim of the course is a presentation of selected psychological and sociological knowledge and methods important for work and organizational context application. Selected topics will be discussed. Theoretical concepts are interconnected with cases. In this way is facilitated enhancement of students understanding of theoretical concepts and their applications.

-Clarification of terms social sciences,concretely managerial psychology,managerial sociology and andragogy. -Worker as a person. The structure personality and personal development. Use of the knowledge in the management. -Attitudes,values and emotions in work. -Emotional intelligence: understanding,applying an development. -Performance, stress and stress management. Relaxation methods. -Stress and the individual. Coping with stress. -Learning and develpoment. Application of learning theory to organizations. -The motivation of knowledge workers. Theories of motivation. Commitment and engagement.Motivation and stimulation for work. -Content theories of motivation/"why"/ and process theories /"how"/. -The meaning and importance of groups and teamwork. Effective teamwork. -Communication in the organization. Communication audit. -Innovation and entrepreneurship. -Powers and authority. Resources management power. -Social system of organization.
