Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
1.To explain difference between traditional personnel management and HRM.
2.To clarify of purpose and importance of the Personnel Management and HRM in organizations.
3.To define human resources planning strategy and to illustrate recruitment and selection process and employee adaptation process.
4.To explain ethics problems and to define tools their solutions.
5.To clarify relation among motivation, satisfaction with job and performance and explain theories of motivation.
6.To describe procedure of work performance management and to apply possible remuneration methods within the work performance management.
7.To define tools and methods of performance appraisal of team and organization.
8.To describe methods of training and development and to define learning organization.
9.To explain, what is organization´s social (human) potential, brainware and to describe creative personality.
10.To describe remuneration system and to clarify relation between appraisal of employees and their remuneration.
11.To clarify diference between management and leadership of people, to define types of leadership of employees.
12.To clarify fundamental rules of teamwork and to define team roles.
13.To describe organizational culture and to clarify the diversity of international cultures.

The aim of this subject is to professionally and practically equip students with knowledge in the field of human resource management to increase employee involvement in the organization within challenging competitive environment. In this course, students are introduced to basic terminology related to this field, with the historical development of human resources management and with the main activities of human resource management such as planning, recruitment, selection, training and remuneration of employees. The main emphasis is given on the issues of performance management, employee motivation and the ethics of human resource management.
