1. Clarify the historical aspects of human resource management 2. Explain the process for making personnel strategy and policy. 3. Describe the steps of the process of recruitment, selection and orientation of employees. 4. Explain the essence of the process of training and development of employees. 5. Clarify the performance appraisal process. 6. Clarify the nature, significance and various tools of compensation of employees. 7. Characterize the possibility of employee motivation. 8. Explain the communication process and its forms. 9. Characterize leadership and its use in the organization. 10.Describe the importance and benefits of teams and teamwork. 11.Characterize the basic principles of performance management of employees. 12.Explain the basics of ethics and its application in the field of human resource management. 13.Define characteristics of international human resource management. 14.Explain the significance and the creation of organizational culture.

Summary

Main aim of the subject is to provide the students with knowledge of human resources management in order to increase employee engagement in a competitive environment. In this subject, students are introduced to the basic concepts related to the area, to the historical development of human resources management and to the main activities of human resources management such as planning, acquisition, selection, education, evaluation, remuneration and work performance management of employees. Great emphasis is placed on employee motivation, communication, leadership, team utilization and teamwork, and on human resource management ethics, international human resource management and organizational culture.
